posted 11 Jun 2019, 11:02 by Judith Pitchforth   [ updated 11 Jun 2019, 11:04 ]
It's back again - The Broomhill local history walk is happening in the Festival week.
Join Eilis and Judith as they walk and talk about the history of the Sheffield Girls' School, Rutland Park and Ash Grove. Find out about the school, the houses and people who lived in them in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. There are three opportunities to join in - just turn up.
£5 per person.

Monday 17th and Wednesday 19th - meet from 6.45 for a prompt start at 7pm; Saturday 22nd meet at 1.45 for a prompt start at 2pm, in the car park of the Sheffield Girls' School.

This year we are raising funds for the Broomhill Community Trust - to improve the facilities in the library and to create a community hub with access for all.
Check the Festival website - www.broomhill-festival.org.uk for full details of all events, or pick up a brochure in the library and local shops
