We're Your Community Library and Heritage Garden – Run by Volunteers, Powered by You!
We're proud to be a co-delivered, volunteer-run library working in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The council helps with the basics—like keeping the lights on and stocking our bookshelves—but everything else? That’s thanks to the amazing support of our community.

From storytelling sessions and craft clubs to garden projects and tech help, your donations help bring our library to life. Every pound goes toward creating a welcoming space full of activities, events, and improvements that benefit everyone.

How your donations are used...

Small donations add up, and we've used them to purchase cartridges for library printers, to purchase a new and larger reception desk, to fund new library activities and services, and to upgrade our library computers.

Want to support us? Here’s how to donate:

• Call in at Broomhill Community Library and make a donation

• By bank transfer from your account. Please email treasurer@broomhill-library.org.uk for our bank details

• Help support us by creating an account with Easyfundraising and use it when you shop online. Over 8,000 retailers, including Argos, eBay, and John Lewis will donate to Broomhill Community Trust when you use Easyfundraising to shop with them. Signing up is easy and free! These donations really mount up over time

• Boost our Coop Award. Using your Co-op membership card, you can nominate Broomhill Community Trust (BCT) as a cause you want to vote for. Every time you buy over £5 of Co-op branded goods, you can nominate BCT, which will enter us into a £5k draw.
