Tuesdays from 11:30-13:00
If you're new to the area, have small children (or not), would like to meet other people and maybe improve your English - please join us at Tea, Talk and Tots. This is an informal weekly gathering. Toys are available for the children to play.
A bi-monthly crochet group for beginners and intermediates. Learn basic stitches so that you can make simple things to take home or give to charity and meet new people while you're here! Materials and refreshments provided.
£3 suggested donation helps to purchase materials and supplies.
Crafternoons Knitting Group
1st and 3rd Mondays of the month from 14:00 - 15:30
Just drop by! No booking required.
A bi-monthly knitting group for all ages. Drop in with your knitting – enjoy a chat and a cuppa with fellow knitters. Free activity and no need to book.
Tuesday
Enjoy a time of reading excerpts from great books, poems and magazine articles together over a cuppa. Ideal for those that want a daytime book group but need the pace to be a little gentler.

Social Gardening Club - new 4-week session begins April 2nd

The Social Gardening Club has been very popular, and we're pleased to announce our third session! The warmer weather will mean that we can spend more time outdoors and increase the number of available slots.

Ideally, we would love you to come to all four sessions as they form a block of sessions with varied instruction. We understand that people have other commitments; if you can't commit to all four sessions please book that ones you can.

The Social Gardening Club is a place to learn gardening, floristry, and more, while meeting new friends. The club is led by an experienced facilitator and no prior gardening experience is needed. All tools and refreshments are provided. Indoor gardening will be held during bad weather.

Walking Friends is an informal way to enjoy the benefits of walking outdoors. Our walks are friendly, safe, and varied. We have a choice of walks ranging from flat and easy to longer and uneven. Everyone is welcome. Choose a walk best suited to your ability. If necessary, seek medical advice before attending. Our schedule varies depending on the number of people participating and their physical abilities. A typical month would have walks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the mornings.
