Children's Author Event will kickoff the Summer Reading Challenge
"I Love My Daddy because" by Michelle Odudu
Saturday, July 19th at 10:30 in the Children's Library
For children aged 5 and under with their parents
Author Michelle Odudu will share her books about the bond between fathers and their sons and daughters through the many fun activities they share together; at the park, going for long walks, gardening, going to school, and at bed times.
Dr. Odudu is a mother and grandmother with a natural passion for children and their development. She believes every child should have a good relationship with both parents; and that good fathers should be recognised and appreciated.
Copies of her books will be available to purchase.
Children will be able to find out more about the Summer Reading Challenge and sign up.
